Join Berlin jewellery designer Gina Melosi for an introduction to the art of wax carving. In this small-group workshop, you'll learn how jewellers transform an idea into a wearable object using the traditional lost-wax casting process.
Working from your own concept, you'll design and carve a ring or pendant in jeweller's wax while learning techniques for shaping, carving and refining your piece. Along the way, you'll gain insight into contemporary jewellery design and the processes behind Gina's work.
No previous experience is required.
After the workshop, your design will be professionally cast and finished in Fairmined 935 silver, ready to collect from the studio.
